NIKE SEVERS TIES WITH CYCLIST LANCE ARMSTRONG: The big buzz this week in the world of professional sports was Nike's termination of their advertising and promotion contracts with cyclist Lance Armstrong. Nike has a history of standing by many a professional athlete who have disgraced themselves in the eyes of the public, but in Lance's case, they decided to sever the ties. Find out why here.

64% OF SMARTPHONE RESTAURANT SEARCHES CONVERT WITHIN AN HOUR: According to a recent report released by Nielson, restaurant searches on smartphones lead the pack with an impressive 64% conversion rate. This makes sense when you think about it since you're typically out and about the town when hunger strikes so you're already in a buying mode, you just need to find a place where you can get what you want.
